Dean opened Beaucáge Salon & Spa in March 1989 with five employees. Today, Beaucáge employs 48 team members, from stylists to estheticians to manicurists, all handpicked by Dean. Dean is not only one of the most accomplished hairstylists on Newbury Street, but also a mentor, educator, leader, and friend to his staff and clients. Over the years, he’s received local and national recognition, including Best Women’s Haircut by Boston Magazine. He was also featured in Boston Common Magazine, Where Magazine, Improper Bostonian, and Allure. With one of the most coveted chairs in the city, Dean has the experience and artistry to listen and understand his clients’ needs. He captures a style that makes them look and feel beautiful each time.
